* Know of a vegan restaurant, shop, or B&B that I’ve missed? Send me an email, I’d love to hear about them. I’d especially like to learn of the gems hidden in our smaller communities.

There’s also Organic Lives on Quebec at 2nd Ave in Vancouver. They’re raw vegan.

Not in BC now, but I lived there, on the Sunshine Coast, for about 35 years! I have a B&B in LaScie, Newfoundland that offers vegan/veggie breakfasts and people come from all over the world to this remote outport, just because they know they won’t starve while travelling. Interesting. I do cook for other people’s needs, too, but am a vegetarian myself, so am more inclined to prepare foods I can enjoy!

An other amazing vegan place is “la vida vegan” in Parksville BC, awesome food, juices, soups. Check them out on facebook. A young couple owes it, very friendly and they also do the markets around the area (Qualicum beach, Parksville) during the spring and summer times with their food truck. They make the best tamales!!!
