You wouldn’t know it by looking through my recipe index, but crisps hold a special place in my heart. They’re pretty much the first thing I taught myself to bake (this is going back to when I was still a kid). I’d go out to our yard, pick the apples from our tree, and head to the kitchen to bake up what became my “famous” apple crisp… I guess that’s about when I caught the baking bug.
I don’t want to speak to soon. I mean, let’s be real here. I’m going to bake A LOT more cookies in my lifetime. But… These may just be my most perfect oatmeal cookies ever!
I was really tempted to name these “Post Holiday Bars”, because they are a great way to use up leftover cranberry sauce.
Want to see me with a sad face? Smoosh the frosting off my cupcake. That’s why I refuse to try to transport a cupcake in a lunch bag… The good news: muffins are sturdy, transportable, and like a cupcake! 🙂 … Except these, they’re like a cookie… “Whaaat?”, you say….
