My Snickerdoodles are one of the most popular (and requested) cookies I bake for friends and family. Of course I’m thrilled that people like them so much, but… I just don’t find it fun to bake the same stuff all the time… So this time I compromised, and turned my Snickerdoodles into bars!
Whenever I make doughnuts, I wonder to myself why I don’t make them more often. They’re easy, fairly quick, and always welcomed by a stampede of eager taste testers! They’re also insanely customizable (a bonus for bakers who bore easily, like me).
This is a recipe I used to make a long time ago (way back before I was vegan). I recently stumbled upon it while flipping through my old notes, and it brought back some good memories. They were always a hit, and I realized that it would not take much to revise the recipe into one without the eggs or dairy.
