Closing the Cookbook

“Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon.”

– Dalai Lama

I hate drawn out good-byes, so I’d like to make this short and sweet…

Running this blog has been such a wonderful experience. I’ve learned so much about blogging, social media, photography, and (yes) even a thing or two more about baking. It’s also been a great medium to meet and engage with other like minds and feel part of the vegan community… That being said I’ve decided not to post anymore entries to this blog. The truth is, I’m just not passionate about blogging, as I once was. I have not lost my passion for baking, but I do feel disconnected from my other interests. I want more time to meditate, bead, read, spend more time with Dave and Harvey, and spend more time on the issues of animal rights and women’s rights… Six months ago, I bought a copy of The Sexual Politics Of Meat and have not even opened the front cover!

If you’re new to this blog I encourage you to explore the recipes through the index (upper right of page).

Comments have been closed, but if anyone has any questions (about the recipes or vegan baking in general) or simply wants to keep in touch, please feel free to contact me via email (link to address is also at the upper right of page).

I do not plan on disappearing completely (although I am deactivating my Facebook page), I plan to keep a presents on both Twitter and Pinterest. So connect with me there… I will, of course, continue to drop in on a few blogs.

Thank you all for your support and encouragement.
